The 220-hour automotive training class offers a comprehensive foundation in the automotive industry, covering essential topics that prepare students for entry-level positions. Participants will gain knowledge about tires, including their types, inspection methods, and maintenance practices such as rotation and balancing. The course also delves into oil changes, teaching students the steps to perform them on various vehicles, the differences between synthetic and conventional oils, and proper disposal techniques. Additionally, students will learn about basic automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and safety procedures crucial for working effectively in the automotive environment.

Further components of the training include an introduction to essential tools and their safe usage, along with an overview of OSHA standards to ensure workplace safety. Students will also explore basic electrical systems, learning how to read wiring diagrams and test components using a multimeter. The program emphasizes job readiness, equipping students with skills in resume writing, interview techniques, and workplace professionalism. By covering these topics, the course effectively prepares participants for successful careers as technicians or mechanics' assistants in the automotive field.
